Medicine. It's About Life 2006-10-25 One more final exam and we are DONE with Metabolism. 4 courses, 4 final exams, 10 quizzes and 2 months later, I completed my very first block in medical school: Molecules and Cells. Oh. Yes. Baby. I'm just so excited to get a new 3-inch binder full of notes for Immunology tomorrow. *12 hours later* YES!!!!! DONE MOLECULES AND CELLS BABY!!!!!! Time for IMMUNOLOGY!!!!!!!!!! :D The more I study medicine, the more I understand why the human being is God's masterpiece. Take metabolism for example. You would NOT believe how amazingly intertwined and coordinated the metabolic pathways are and how everything comes together in the end to one big beautiful picture and then all components work in synergy. It's a work of wonder happening in your body every time you take a bite of a chocolate bar or drink a glass of milk. Believe it. Medicine. It's about life. I love it.
