How time flies. One year and 2 days ago, I got the phone call from Dean White: "Congratulations Shannon, you were definitely accepted." I can still remember his exact wording and tone and the exact moment and my exact reaction.

One year later, I'm already waist deep into anatomy and cutting hearts open.

11/14/05: I thought it was unreal, that I had been so undeservedly blessed.

11/16/06: I must echo the same sentiment. It still seems unreal that I actually get to be here. And I remain absolutley and undeservingly blessed by His grace.
