Day 13: Turning a New Page 2006-12-07 Today is the last dissection of the trunk. Spent 4 hours digging through arteries and nerves of the pelvic and perineal region. After a while, anatomy begins to all blend together into a big mesh. Sometimes I forget that nothing I learn in medical school is just another random course or another random fact. I cannot just take an exam and forget about everything afterwards. That is the difference between college and medical school. Here, everything I learn is actually what I need to know on the wards, treating patients, being a clinician. Realizing this scares me a little bit but also motivates me at the same time. Anyway, I'm still sick. Trying to fight it. Ciao.
