If I have not mentioned it before, one of my lab partner came up with a name for our guy: "The Cadaver Formerly Known as Prince". So we call him Prince for short.

Anyhow, we dissected the leg today and unanimously decided that he was definitely not preserved at all and has begun to rot away. After much persuasion, Master T-ford agreed to let us have a new body. I actually don't know how I feel about that.

On the one hand, I am glad that we will not have to put up with Prince's body odor anymore. But on the other hand, I really feel like I have gotten attached to him. I am proud of his healthy organs and beautiful muscles. I am fond of the fact that whereas other more well preserved cadavers are all basically different shades of gray and brown, ours actually has colors like red and pink. I enjoy how fresh he is. The colors and fresh blood made it feel more real.

But Alas, our journey together must end, Prince. It has been one of the most unique experiences of my life, thank you for that. May you rest in peace.
