Day 17: Christmas Time 2006-12-17 James and I sang Christmas carols while dissecting through the leg and foot today. It was kind of fun. Because our group now has two cadavers to work on, we have split up the group. James and I are doing the red and raw Prince, and Zach and Alex are doing the white preserved real cadaver. The lower limbs are all about physics. Almost all of life can be summed up in terms of physics. Do you realize how crazy that is? Physics is the answer to almost everything. Except to life itself. I've had a really tiring weekend. Last week I weighted myself for the first time in Baltimore, and I was stunned to find that I gained 20 pounds since beginning of medical school. My metabolism has started to slow down. I am indeed getting old. One more week of dissection and then its vacation time.
