Just scrubbed out of a nine hour surgery. You read me right. No lunch break. I survived! Yippee! I held a vocal cord in my hands today. We also constructed a new esophagus and neck from pectoralis major (the pecs). Brilliant. I love surgery. I am now the master of cutting sutures. In closing the case up, I was multitasking cutting 3 people's sutures. This is what I do for fun on my vacation. :)
