The Surprise 2007-01-05 So, apparently I am engaged. I have to say that this one came as a surprise to me. I talked to an old friend from high school for the first time in a long while yesterday. The first thing she said to me is "I hear you are engaged". My reply was "To whom?!" It is neat to learn that you are engaged from someone else. I digress. My new play-on-repeat song: Lack of Color by Death Cab for Cutie. I'm not crazy about the lyrics but I just love the way it sounds. DCFC can be my new favorite band, for now. I have two days to live. I think I have become accustomed to being so behind that I have a higher stress threshold now. Double edged sword this is. So today, James asks me "Shannon when was the last time you went to class or small group or anything at all" And you know what? It has been a whole month. I'm good, aren't I.
