Today we freed the eye ball loose from its home, and bissected it. We also bissected a cow's eye today. Hands down, the vitreous humor is one of the coolest things I have seen so far. It feels like jello. We also used the human lens as a magnifying glass over our books. That was fun too.

After that was my first time in direct contact in surgery with an HIV positivie patient. Ironically enough, it was also my first time have a patient's blood spraying out of a vessel at high pressure over me. Like what you see in medical dramas.

Exhausted. But feeling great. Thank God for life.
